Stingray, Lloydminster has a very rare opening in the Television Production Department for our stations in Lloydminster. Lloydminster is a bustling, multi-cultural city on the border of Saskatchewan and Alberta. Located between Saskatoon and Edmonton, it boasts a beautiful country side and plenty of amenities. This is an exciting opportunity to produce locally relevant content and assist in a modern production control room environment.

Your day-to-day

  • Help to produce all aspects of our daily newscasts
  • Post stories / newscasts / programs to social media (including YouTube)
  • Trim, edit, and assemble together panels, interviews, and stories from the week into compilation program packages
  • Assist in the generation and assembly of graphical packages / templates for our local programming
  • Shoot, edit, and/or write one or more stories per week, time permitting

Your qualifications

  • Have a degree/Diploma in television broadcasting, along with a valid driver’s license
  • Be experienced with Inception News
  • Have Knowledge of Adobe or Final Cut editing systems
  • Have prior experience filming news / sports / documentary / style programming
  • Meet tight deadlines
  • Be a conscientious, dependable and detail-oriented team player
  • Have excellent people skills, professional attitude & appearance
