Screenwriter

Position Summary:
The Screenwriter will be responsible for developing original scripts and adapting existing works into engaging and heartwarming romantic screenplays. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of romantic tropes, character development, and emotional storytelling, with a proven track record of writing successful romance scripts for film or television.

Key Responsibilities:

Scriptwriting: Develop original romance screenplays and adapt existing works into compelling romantic stories.
Story Development: Collaborate with producers, directors, and other writers to brainstorm and develop story ideas, outlines, and treatments.
Character Development: Create multi-dimensional characters that resonate with audiences and drive the emotional core of the story.
Dialogue Writing: Craft authentic, engaging, and emotionally charged dialogue that enhances character relationships and narrative flow.
Revisions: Revise and polish scripts based on feedback from the creative team, producers, and directors.
Research: Conduct thorough research to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the story’s setting, characters, and themes.
Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to ensure the script aligns with the overall vision and practical constraints of the project.
Deadlines: Manage time effectively to meet writing deadlines and production schedules

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
