We are casting scare actors to portray iconic Halloween Monsters for “The Monster Wash,” a 5-day family-friendly Halloween event at Mint Smartwash, Calgary. Mint Smartwash is an express car wash, but we’re transforming it into a fun and spooky haunted experience for this special event.

Event dates are from October 26th to 30th, with shifts running from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Open to all genders, ages 18+.

Role Overview: Actors will play a crucial role in creating a spooky, fun, and immersive environment for our guests during this unique haunted car wash experience. You will interact with guests as they drive through, bringing popular Halloween themes to life.

What We’re Looking For:

• Energetic and Engaging: You must be able to interact with guests in a lively, family-appropriate manner, helping create a spooky yet fun atmosphere.
• Improv Skills: Comfort with staying in character and engaging with guests is essential. You should be able to handle unexpected situations with creativity and ease.
• Professional and Punctual: Reliability is key. Actors must commit to scheduled rehearsals and the event times, ensuring a smooth and consistent experience for all visitors.
• Costume-Friendly: Be comfortable wearing themed costumes and makeup, embracing the character you’re portraying.
• Experience: Previous acting experience is a plus but not required. Enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to have fun with the role are what matter most!

Details:

• Location: Mint Smartwash. Calgary, AB, Canada
• Pay: Up to CA$1,000 for the event. You will be paid hourly and required to arrive 30-45 minutes early to get into costume and character.
• Note: The event may run slightly longer than scheduled, so flexibility is appreciated. We are seeking individuals who can fully commit to all 5 nights of the event. Transportation will not be provided.
