Video Editor/Camera Operator

Job Summary:

Attention: This job is a salaried position with benefits. It is a Monday through Friday 8-5 work week, on location at our studio in Locust Grove, GA. There are occasional WFH opportunities but it is 85% on location.

As a key member of our media production company, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and technical skills while working on a variety of exciting projects. From filming stunning footage to crafting seamless edits, you’ll play a vital role in bringing our clients’ visions to life.

The ideal candidate will be a proficient camera operator with knowledge of Sony and Red hardware and on the software side, proficiency in Adobe Premiere while possessing a strong background in video editing, 2D animation, graphic design, and content creation. Position: Camera Operator/Editor
Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried
Schedule: Monday through Friday

Duties:

– Film, edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product for various clientele
– Drone operation, familiarity with DJI production equipment is helpful. Bonus considerations for licensed drone operators.
– Create visually appealing videos with 2D animation and graphic design elements
– Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging video content
– Manage and organize video files using Adobe Bridge
– Utilize content management systems to publish videos online
– Enhance video quality using various software tools
– Incorporate music, dialogues, graphics, and effects into videos
– Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of final videos

Skills:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

– Proficiency in the Adobe Suite
– Bonus points for Drone Operater Licence
– Strong background in 2D animation and graphic design
– Experience in content creation and storytelling through videos
– Knowledge of photo manipulation techniques
– Familiarity with content management systems for video publishing
– Understanding of video production processes and techniques
– Passion for cinema and visual storytelling
– An understanding of the proper use of camera and lighting equipment for the purpopse of production
– Proficiency in Google Business Cloud Services (email, shared docs and spreadsheets)
– Knowledge of RV’s, their operational components, and transportation methods is helpful but not required

This position requires a cheerful, VERY PROFESSIONAL attitude and respect for others, our customers, vendors and colleagues. Reliability and the drive to assist with duties regardless of the work environment. Applicants must be capable of passing a background character screening, and e-Verify. Applicants must also have reliable transportation and be able to work the stated schedule. The applicant must also have a current valid driver’s license and the ability of getting to and from work without assistance.

Position is full time and directly reports to the President. Hours are primarily Monday-Friday 8:00 – 5:00, however occasional travel and weekend hours may be required. This position requires the ability of lifting 25 pounds, standing for 4+ hours at any given time on uneven surfaces, the ability to climb a ladder, and being exposed to varying temperatures.
