Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Videographer to join our team and capture high-quality video content of new build developments across London. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling through visuals, and experience in shooting architectural and real estate videography. You will be responsible for capturing footage that highlights the features, design, and unique selling points of each development, ensuring that the final product aligns with the project’s goals and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Production:
- Visit various new build development sites across London to shoot high-quality video footage, including exteriors, interiors, and surrounding environments.
- Capture a range of shots including wide-angle, close-up, aerial (if applicable), and time-lapse to showcase the development’s scale, design, and craftsmanship.
- Use drones, gimbals, and other equipment to achieve professional-level video quality.
- Pre-Production:
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and/or Creative Director to understand the brief and the key elements to be highlighted in each development.
- Conduct site visits or review architectural plans (if necessary) to plan the shots and filming strategy.
- Prepare and manage all necessary filming equipment, ensuring it is in top condition for on-site shoots.
- Post-Production:
- Edit the captured footage to create compelling videos that meet the project’s objectives.
- Incorporate music, voiceovers, and other post-production effects to enhance the final product.
- Ensure videos are delivered in the required format and within the agreed timeline.
- Client Interaction:
- Work closely with clients, architects, and developers to understand their vision and objectives.
- Be open to feedback and make revisions as necessary to meet client expectations.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Maintain an organized archive of footage and final videos for future reference or re-use.
Key Requirements:
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a Videographer, particularly in the real estate, architecture, or construction industries.
- Demonstrable portfolio showcasing your ability to shoot and edit high-quality videos of buildings or similar subjects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of camera equipment, lighting, and sound recording for professional video production.
- Experience with drone videography is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail and a creative eye for composition and storytelling.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Other Requirements:
- A valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle (desirable but not essential).
- Ability to travel across London and potentially work outside of normal business hours, depending on project needs.
Compensation:
- Competitive day rate or project-based fee, depending on experience and scope of work.
- Potential for ongoing freelance work based on performance and project availability.
