Social Media Manager and Videographer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager and Videographer to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and engage with our target audience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management and a passion for creating engaging content. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.

***Please note this is a few small companies and you will be doing work for them all. We are needing a person who can be very creative to help grow our educational YouTube Channel, along with grow our brand recognition on all social media for our powder coating operation, as well as our equipment sales business and potentially more. Having your own equipment is a huge plus as well as your own software for edits!

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

• Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
• Create and curate engaging content tailored to each platform, including text, images, graphics, and video.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve goals.
• Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and manage online communities to build brand loyalty.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our strategies fresh and effective.

Videography:

• Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various digital platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns, and YouTube channel.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop video concepts that align with brand messaging and objectives.
• Manage all aspects of video production, from pre-production (storyboarding, scripting) to post-production (editing, color grading, sound design).
• Maintain and organize video equipment and assets, ensuring everything is in top working condition.
• Continuously explore new techniques and technologies to enhance the quality and effectiveness of video content.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in social media management and videography, with portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with motion graphics and animation (After Effects).
• Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
• Experience in paid social media advertising.
• Photography skills are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
