Video Editor

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team to do work from home. We want to make training videos for our staff, and possible to social media videos also. We need someone who already knows how to do the technical side because no one from the office knows how yet. We also have other at administrative work stuff that could be done from home to create more hours but the primary role would be to help create training videos, social media videos and possible the some sales videos. We can provide the camera/gopro equipment to take videos. They don’t need to professional grade videos but they need to know how to edit videos, such as shorten videos add voice overs, add arrows and text to videos and graphics over, increase the speed of a video in the middle of the video etc.

Responsibilities
– Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting
– Utilize software such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and other editing tools to enhance video content. Your choice of software.
– Create visually appealing videos by incorporating effects, transitions, and animations
– Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop innovative video concepts
– Ensure all edited videos align with the brand’s guidelines and objectives

Requirements
– Proficiency in video editing software of your choice.
– Understanding of video editing techniques and best practices
– Experience in content creation, photo manipulation, graphic design is a plus
– Familiarity with for file sharing
– Knowledge of cinema and film production principles is advantageous

Job Types: Internship, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week

Experience:

• Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)
• Video editing: 1 year (Required)
• Content creation: 1 year (Required)
• Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)
