Umyuaq Technology is looking for a qualified Medical Photographer / Videographer Graphic Support Tech to support our contract at the Brooke Army Medical Center, located on Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, in San Antonio, TX

Job description

We’re seeking a Medical Photographer / Videographer Graphic Support who will generate digital images or multidimensional animations of patients/conditions for use inpatient care (including documentation within the medical record), research activities, and education (including publication in the medical literature, medical presentations, and other medical education projects) in collaboration with medical experts.

Qualifications:

• Experience in medical terminology to allow them to follow the doctor’s direction on what to photograph.

Must have experience in the taking of medical photographs.

• Experience in human anatomy to allow them to identify and follow the doctor’s direction on what to photograph.

• Experience in uploading medical photographs.

• Experience in video editing, which also includes videotaping, audio recording, replicating taped and recorded footage and conversion to other media.

• Experience in graphic and visual design and photographic rules including leading lines, the rule of threes and elements of design to build strong compositions and storyboarding and scripting.

• Experience with professional photographic equipment, digital SLR cameras, interchangeable lenses and flash equipment as well as portable lighting.

• Physical ability to carry and transport the equipment, stand and hold camera equipment for extended periods of time.

• Experience with Adobe CS5 or higher, especially Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, Encore, Flash, Audition, Sound booth or similar software.

• Experience with all HIPAA regulations that govern the control of PII and PHI data and ensure the strict compliance with those regulations.

Certifications and Experience:

• Experience with all HIPAA regulations
• Experience with Adobe CS5 or higher

Pay: $52,000.00 – $56,000.00 per year
