Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Social Video Editor to spearhead the creation of compelling video content that drives significant sales and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is not only a skilled video editor but also a creative strategist with a talent for discovering and scaling winning ad concepts on social media platforms like Meta, TikTok, and Instagram. This position offers a unique opportunity to transform creative ideas into high-performing campaigns for consumer products and e-commerce brands.
Responsibilities::
- Own the creative strategy: Lead the development of video content that resonates with target audiences and drives measurable sales growth, with a strong focus on user-generated content (UGC) and paid social media ads.
- Review and curate raw content: Analyze raw UGC, influencer videos, and other social content to identify the best clips, hooks, and moments to feature in ads, ensuring the most impactful content is used.
- Build and execute creative briefs: Develop detailed creative briefs, at times autonomously, to guide the production of high-performing video ads and static content.
- Innovate with winning concepts: Actively research and identify high-performing trends, creative frameworks, and successful content strategies to inspire and create scalable social ad campaigns.
- Iterate and optimize: Use performance data and insights from winning creatives to refine and evolve content, ensuring continuous improvement and effectiveness across all platforms.
- Leverage proven frameworks: Utilize and adapt existing templates and frameworks to create efficient, high-volume ad production while maintaining a high standard of creativity and innovation.
- Collaborate for impact: Work closely with the client’s Art Director and the broader creative team to align visual content with brand strategy and campaign objectives, ensuring a cohesive and powerful brand narrative.
- Stay ahead of trends: Keep a pulse on the latest social media trends, particularly within health and wellness, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and e-commerce sectors, to ensure our content stays relevant and effective.
Requirements:
:
- 7+ years of experience in video and creative production, with a proven track record of producing video and UGC content that drives sales through social media channels.
- Strong portfolio showcasing experience in developing high-impact video content and static ads, including examples with captions, text overlays, and winning clips used in successful campaigns.
- Expertise in Adobe Design Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere), Figma, Capcut, and familiarity with project management tools like Asana or Basecamp.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, particularly Meta, TikTok, and Instagram, and the ability to apply best practices to maximize ad performance.
- Background in health and wellness, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or e-commerce, with a strong understanding of how to create content that drives engagement and revenue.
