Position Summary
Work in the exciting world of Popejoy Hall, all while sharpening your video skills and having a blast! Popejoy Hall is the largest performing arts venue in the state, hosting Broadway shows, symphony concerts, musical soloists, modern dance, and noted speakers.

As a Student Videographer, you’ll get hands-on experience capturing the magic of live performances and events, all within a dynamic and supportive team environment. You’ll have the opportunity to work with fellow student videographers and Popejoy Hall’s content specialist, turning your creative ideas into captivating videos.

This position is perfect for anyone eager to blend their video passion with practice, all while making memorable content in an artistic and professional setting.

Position Summary:

Under general supervision provides videography services for organization’s needs. This is an on-call position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.Prepares video materials, including reels or compilations, for publication and presentations.
2.Provides technical assistance to the Popejoy Hall Content Coordinator regarding video needs.
3.Maintains record of work performed.
4.May provide location services, including documentation of special events on and off-campus that may require business casual to business formal attire.
5.May participate in departmental and/or institutional marketing.
6.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
7.Primarily works nights and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of video equipment, materials, techniques, and media, both digital and analog.
  • Ability to operate and maintain professional video equipment.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel
  • Must provide own video equipment
