ABOUT: Ivory Grove is a small business owned and led by a husband/wife duo. Together, over the past couple of years, we have grown our team to include over 100 photographers & videographers. We shoot weddings all over the Midwest and specialize in offering photo/video teams. We aim to deliver beautiful, genuine, affordable wedding media to our clients, while also providing valuable training and job opportunities to our team members.

Ivory Grove we are looking to bring on associate photographers and videographers to our team in Dallas. This is an amazing way to pick up some extra work while still allowing you to build your own business as is.

JOB REQUIREMENTS & ROLE EXPECTATIONS:

• You must have your own equipment. We will not provide any gear. See camera requirements below.*
• Experience shooting at least two weddings at minimum is REQUIRED. (Applicants that have no experience shooting weddings will not be considered). Please send full galleries and or video links in the application.
• Work with the lead team member to understand the scope and responsibilities of the day.
• Upload and utilize our systems for file transfers. We take care of all editing and delivery of media.
• Skilled in natural light photography/videography with strong understanding & execution of flash for low light situations..
• Pay is currently $50 per hour for second shooters (weddings range from 4-10 hours). We reimburse mileage after 25 miles from the major city in this application. All responsibilities are included in your hourly rate.
• Utilize our portal & processes for communication, uploads, etc.
• Communicate and work professionally with other Ivory Grove team members.
• You can expect 10-40 weddings per year through Ivory Grove.

*CAMERA REQUIREMENTS

Photo Camera Body & Gear:

• Second photographers are required to have 1 full frame camera body.
• Full frame DSLR or mirrorless:Examples: Nikon D850 D750, Canon 5D, 6D Sony A9, A7R, A7. Resolution needs to be 20MP or higher. Dual card slots is preferred.
• Lenses: Multiple lenses that include a portrait (35mm, 50mm or 85mm), wide angle and zoom capabilities (24-70mm, 18-135mm, 100mm, 70-200mm) Two or more lenses must have minimum aperture of 1.2-2.8.
• External and Off Camera Flash Capabilities

Video Camera Body:

• Second videographers are required to have 1 full frame camera body.
• BODY – Minimum Resolution and FPS Standard: 1080 60fps anything above is a benefit. DSLR, Mirrorless – Full Frame, Crop sensor, Super 35. (Can shoot 4K and 60fps or 1080 60fps)
• Examples: Panasonic GH5, Sony A7III, Canon EOS R, Canon 80D, Canon 6D MKII, Canon 5D MKIV.
• STABILIZATION – 2 forms of stabilization (tripod is required). Camera Body IBIS is not necessary, but other forms of stabilization is required. Lens IS, Monopod, Tripod, Gimbal, Slider, etc. (stable enough where we don’t have to warp stabilize every clip)
• AUDIO – 2 forms of external audio recording devices, such as the Tascam DR-05, are required.
