About our company

Young Scholars Institute offers individualized tutoring and college counseling for K-12th grade students. We provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in all subjects, including AP and Honors courses. We create customized tutoring plans for each student based on his or her unique learning profile. Our goal is to help our students reach their full academic potential! And now we are opening a new path —- the art school!

Responsibilities:

Guide students through their academic and extracurricular work and ultimately, the college admissions process.

Offer advice regarding choice of career/major, coursework, college selection, and all related areas that compose a successful high school career.

Help students navigate and fill out art schools

Edit creative video content encompassing marketing campaign videos, Youtube brand channel content.

abilities to teach Elementary, middle school, and high school for the art area

Basic Qualifications:

Deep understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Premiere and Photoshop

A strong creative eye to produce and edit on-brand, engaging content

Fluent with Adobe Premiere

Proficient in Adobe After Effects and Photoshop

Knowledge in audio mixing, color correction, and creative editing techniques

Must be able to multitask and keep up with tight deadlines across multiple projects

Optimize content for best performance on social platforms

Ability to receive and apply notes correctly to different versions of video edits

Job Requirements

2+ years of experience in video editing on a digital content or social media team

2+ years of experience in social media platform strategies and social media storytelling

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop

Experience collaborating with producers, directors, and graphic designers to finalize content

Experience with YouTube editing

Bilingual English/Chinese (Mandarin)

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a major in art, design, arts administration

Two years of increasingly responsible work experience in the administration of arts or art-related programs.

Experienced Art Curator is a plus
