Videographer/Editor

JOB OBJECTIVE:

A videographer for Barrett-Jackson shoots and edits for current and upcoming events, social media campaigns, specialty car collections and so much more.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Shooting and editing video (series) for multi-platform use as well as assist in lighting & shooting scenes.
• Ingest and maintain material in company’s Media Asset Management System.
• Ability to work closely with the series producer to edit multiple series in a timely manner while maintaining organization.

Execute clipping of archival material from MAMS and uploading of same to multiple users.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Proficiency in Adobe Suite is a requirement for this role.
• Must be able to produce (with provided editorial guidance) professional quality video projects on tight timeline under extreme pressure.
• Ability to work in “unsupervised” edit to producer’s specifications, ability to interact with all levels of personnel and “celebrity” personalities.
• Willing to work extended and irregular hours
• Knowledge & Ability to compose a shot and light cars
• Aptitude to shoot/produce content by yourself and as a team
• Ability to adapt content for use on multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Stories, TikTok)
• Work with a team to achieve goals on a constantly moving deadline and turning around content in a fast-paced environment
• Capacity to manage/backup your media on a Media Server as you work
• Knowledge of automotive industry, automobiles and collector vehicles preferred
• Experience editing series content
• Minimum 1-2 years experience shooting AND editing
• Experience with Sony FS7 & A7sii cameras a plus
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere & After Effects
• High end video shooting and editing
• Experience with state-of-the-art video acquisition up to and including 4k
• Prior experience using digital asset management systems preferred
• Travel required approximately 30% of the time
