*Please note that this position is located in Langley, British Columbia. Candidates must be able to relocate or drive everyday to this area.*Henry Drilling is one of the largest drilling companies in Western Canada. We have the most modern drilling fleet in British Columbia and more than 30 years experience in the drilling business. Our specialty is tackling jobs that few other companies can do!We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to join our growing PM team. In this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of assigned projects including contract management/negotiations, material supply, cost management, crew management and scheduling.*Salary and Benefits:** Highly competitive compensation based on experience.* Deferred Profit-Sharing Plan (DPSP).* Group Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).* RRSP Match.* Extended Health Services.* Dental Care.* Long Term Disability.* Dependent Life Insurance.* Accidental Death, Disease and Dismemberment (AD&D).* Travel Insurance.*Duties and responsibilities:** Plan and oversee all aspects of assigned projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope and within budget.* Draft project proposals/tenders and manage sub-trades.* Manage performance and projects progress, including cost, schedule and quality.* Ensure resource availability and allocation and coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors.* Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.* Manage cost and tracking for each individual project.* Perform site visits to monitor specific processes and procedures are being performed correctly and efficiently.* Read and interpret construction drawings & specifications.* Work with Site Superintendents/Foremen and other parties to ensure deliveries are coordinated and expedited.* Manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors, third party contacts, consultants, engineers, and subtrade partners.* Create and maintain thorough project documentation.* Work in conjunction with other PM’s and the management team to best manage crew and equipment placement.* Attend coordination and progress meetings;* Work with the safety department and site supervisors to ensure projects are carried out in a safe manner in compliance with our safety policies.* Other duties as required.*Qualifications:** A degree in civil engineering or equivalent.* Several years of experience as a Project Manager.* PMP certification (an asset).* Experience in piling/drilling (an asset).* Willing to drive to multiples job sites around Lower Mainland.* Ability to learn and work under the supervision of the Senior Project Manager.* Ability to develop/maintain relationship with trade partners across the city.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Proficient in working with Microsoft Office.* Strong communication and problem solving skills.* Ability to work independently.* Ability to read blueprints.* Navigate technical documents relevant to the work.* Knowledge of varying provincial legislation pertaining to the work.* Construction experience preferred.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:* Company pension* Dental care* Disability insurance* Extended health care* Life insurance* On-site parking* Profit sharing* RRSP matchSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayApplication question(s):* Are you able to drive daily to Langley, British Columbia?* Please indicate your salary expectation (annual range)Work Location: In person
