TITLE | CINEMATOGRAPHER & EDITOR
REPORTS TO | VIDEO PRODUCTION MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is a hybrid between two roles. As Cinematographer and Editor, this person manages to complete responsibilities including shooting, editing, client experience, production, and post-production. Their main objective is to grow in their creative talents to be able to consistently provide the Moving Mountains quality and experience to all clients (Wedding and Commercial).

WORKLOAD / HOURS

Expected hours are 40-50 hours per week on average, and potentially more during increased seasonality of business. More important than hours worked is the ability to get the job done and ensure company success.

REQUIREMENTS

❏ Past customer relations or hospitality experience.
❏ High level communication skills.
❏ Exemplary time management skills.
❏ Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize daily workload.
❏ Minimum experience of 30 weddings is preferred.
❏ Minimum 1 year experience with Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After

Effects, and Final Cut Pro.
❏ Minimum of 2 years creative arts experience is required.

CINEMATOGRAPHER

❏ Schedules and manages personal clients for Moving Mountains.
❏ Ownership of Production and Post Production of engagement/adventure sessions, weddings, commercial projects, and events.
❏ Organizes, edits, and distributes galleries and films to clients.

❏ Ensures all clients are treated with utmost hospitality and have the “Moving Mountains Experience”

❏ Maintains and organizes equipment inventory.

❏ Works effectively as a team member, embracing and fostering the Moving

Mountains mission.

❏ Completes tasks on Tave on a daily basis.

❏ Other Duties as assigned by the Manager.

We are an award-winning company that has grown to be the largest photographic studio in Charlotte. We have plans to expand to additional markets across the US and have always pushed past the boundaries of status-quo to become the successful company we are today. Historically, MM has been a Wedding Photography and Cinematography Business. However, with the new expansion into a studio space, we will be growing portraiture and commercial cinematography.. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
