Roles & Responsibilities

• Experienced vertical editor proficient in Premiere
• Work closely with our production team to edit raw footage into high-quality, engaging, and shareable social viral content
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in video production and socials content creation
• Evolve our existing editing style + creative toolkit as we execute on-brand tone: zany, ambitious, iconic
• Understand, evaluate, and implement feedback from the team to improve your work
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in video editing, at least 1 year of vertical editing experience
• Strong understanding of social platforms and related trends
• Proven track record of creating high-quality, engaging video content
• Proficient in relevant video editing software
• Experience with audio mixing and sound editing
• ++ for color grading
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in film, video production, or related field preferred but not required

Specifications

• 20 hours per week
• Can work in-person in NYC 1-2 days/week preferred but not required
