## Job Summary

If you love the idea of creating videos and sharing ideas but prefer to stay behind the scenes, you might make a perfect fit for a training position as a camera operator, media assistant, with the goal of making and editing videos. As a PWA media assistant, you will be asked to create PWA media communications, and help with all filming and live broadcasts or other programming with our Academy. Your additional roles include setting up live broadcasts, filming the schools classes, shows, workshops, editing, and making sure the media-video strategy moves smoothly. This is the perfect job for a young student leaving college, or an individual who has an innovative, creative side but prefers the privacy of being behind the scenes. Working with us gives you the opportunity to build a solid resume in the world of video and broadcasting.

## Duties

• Operate camera’s at the stage school, shows, workshops, parties, and public exhibitions.
• Ideally some basic knowledge of the technical aspects of lenses, film, filters, light and camera settings for our media video shots
• Work with other film professionals, including electricians, lighting technicians and directors to determine desired effects, lighting requirements, camera movements and filming sequences.
• Arrange studio sets to best suit the settings on the camera and control the lighting equipment and the mood for the shoot.
• Create small edits with our professional advisor and make the small media videos for the Academy. Use CapCut Phone editor or something similar,
• Remain updated on new technology and current industry trends to ensure you bring the latest methods to the job.

## Experience

• Some experience of media, video, editing, and video production – this can be on phones, had held cameras, or larger cameras.
• Good communication skills, and a creative mind
• Basic educational level in English, Maths or Media studies
