Job Summary/Description:

KWCH – the top-rated, long-time news leader in Wichita, KS – is looking for a Chief Photographer to join our news team. You’ll be responsible for shooting and editing stories for on-air and online. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door of a television newsroom.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with the Assignments Manager to shoot videos of various events during the day
  • Maintain camera/related equipment
  • Troubleshoot camera issues
  • Interview subjects at various events during the day

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Degree in Journalism or related field
  • Reel of videography shot and edited by the applicant
  • Worked in/around newsrooms
  • Proficiency in video editing software
