Andros in the UK is a major supplier of ambient fruit-based conserves and chilled yogurts and desserts. The company has experienced rapid growth becoming a top 150 UK food & drink business in 2020.

To support this growth we are now seeking a talented student videographer and content creator to film, edit and creatively direct a variety of videos across our Oldford Production site. These will include training videos for our production staff, amongst other exciting opportunities to grow your portfolio, and showcase the Andros brand through video content.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

· Primary Videographer, editor and director in regards to creating training content, induction content, and other tasks for our Oldford Site in Frome.

· Content Capture: Capture high quality content using the equipment supplied to you.

· Technical Execution: Responsible for overseeing the planning and executing of content from filming to final touch editing.

· Visual Storytelling: Curate on brand content that reflects our identity and ethos, while portraying all the provided information.

· Team liaison: Liaise with the wider team to ensure training content has all the correct information in a clear and concise way.

· Understand our processes: Spend time in the factory to gain a better understanding on how processes work, and apply this to your editing.

· Project ownership: Take ownership of your projects, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate for this role will have a passion for creating on brand, engaging video content. You must be creative, confident, and professionally mature in your approach. You should be able to demonstrate your ability to take an idea from concept to completion, and do so in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will be experienced in adapting to different environments, as they will spend a portion of their time in the factory, liaising with the wider team, and navigating a large site.

Ideally, the candidate will be well organized, and able to complete tasks in a timely manner. The ideal candidate must also pick up new concepts well, as will be creating training videos for large production machines.

Your strength will lie in your ability to see beyond the obvious and suggest new ways of creating and directing engaging, on brand content – as we are open to creative suggestion.

Background

  • The successful candidate will be undertaking a creative course, and familiar with adobe editing software.
  • Confident behind a camera, and able to direct.
  • Some knowledge of food production helpful, but not essential.
  • Previous experience in taking complex information and breaking it down into stages.
  • Experience in liaising with a team.

The role is based part time in Oldford, Frome.
