Braylon Williams
Position Title: Photographer/Videographer
Department: Media
Pay Grade: UNPAID
Reports to: Owner, Braylon Williams
GENERAL PURPOSE
The photographer/videographer will help capture candid moments of Braylon Williams during worship, special events, networking events, etc. The photographer/videographer will also help plan, shoot, and edit special projects such as merch promotionals, video announcements, and training videos/images.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Capture and edit awesome photos and videos when requested.
- Have a positive, creative, fun energy that matches the brand.
- Suggest cool photo, video, and marketing ideas that improve and promote marketing strategies.
- Bring creativity to all content you are producing.
- Shoot footage that captures events situations from multiple angles using different camera positions and perspectives.
- Operate audio equipment such as microphones, sound mixers, and digital recorders to capture sound during filming.
- Shoot still photos during filming to capture candid moments or create images for promotional materials.
- Editing footage to create polished videos with music, titles, credits, and subtitles.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in photography, film, or related field (preferred).
- At least one year of professional experience as a photographer/videographer.
Certificates, Licenses and Other Special Requirements
- Professional photo and video editing equipment.
- Professional photo and video equipment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Have an understanding of and experience with social media and other online media advertising platforms (preferred).
- Have an understanding of and experience with marketing and branding (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Creative eye for composition, lighting, and detail.
- Excellent Organization skills.
- Editing.
- Be familiar with the latest technology to ensure you can use the most efficient tools to complete your work.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable with working in a variety of settings and different climates.
- Must be comfortable with standing for long periods of time.
- Must be able to travel to different locations within the Springfield, MO area and occasionally to other domestic locations.
- Able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
Shift Type: On call, As needed
Salary Range: Unpaid
Location: Springfield, MO (travel required)
