Videographer/Editor

Above Summit is a Somerville-based production studio specializing in aerial and commercial video production. We are seeking a full-time Videographer & Video Editor with a desire to be a part of our team’s long-term vision. This is a junior level position.

Our studio is easy going and flexible on scheduling as long as we keep up with the growing pace of work. As a small production team, we often wear the many hats required in a fast paced and ever changing environment. There will be many opportunities to expand upon your primary role and transition into a more specific area of interest as we continue to grow.

MUST Display…

• Storytelling / Narrative Ability
• Efficient Communication – Verbal and Written
• 2+ years Professional Videography Experience
• Strong fundamentals of Film and Photography Techniques

Technical Experience

• Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Knowledge and Experience with the Traditional and Latest Equipment
• Know What Things like ProRes and Bokeh Mean
• Working Knowledge of Lighting and Audio

Bonus

• Social Media / Marketing
• Working Knowledge of Complete Adobe Creative Suite
• Part 107 license
• Graphic Design / Animation
• Wedding Video Experience (our sister brand: Lovely Valentine)

• 8 hour shift
