Videographer/Editor
Department: Marketing
Direct Supervisor: Senior Manager, Creative Video
Status: Full-time
Summary:
The Videographer/Editor is responsible for pushing the creative boundaries of sports video content. This position will stay at the leading edge of social, promotional, and in-venue content execution while adhering to the standard of the organization and department.

Location:

  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
  • Capture video content to uphold a common production standard of excellence.
  • Edit engaging and entertaining video content for social media, in-venue entertainment, and promotional use for Miami Dolphins, Miami Open, Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, and Hard Rock Stadium events.
  • Full understanding of our industry-leading video and audio equipment.
  • Collaborate with peers throughout other departments (graphic design, corporate partnerships, community) to create customized content to fulfill organizational goals.
  • Apply intensive attention to detail to keep our assets organized and maintain efficiency of our team collaboration.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years professional experience in a related field (prior experience in sports preferred but NOT required).
  • BA/BS in Broadcast/Journalism, Communications, Film, etc. or relevant work experience.
  • A passion for engaging audiences, working with others, storytelling, thinking outside the box, and pushing the creative boundaries of sports video content.
  • Excellent communication skills with peers and experience working with athletes in a professional setting.
  • Prior experience operating and maintaining professional digital video and audio equipment.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud programs, specifically: Pr, Ae, Ps, and Media Encoder.
  • Prior experience manually color-grading video.
  • Ability to travel required for some road Dolphins games, and capturing other content as assigned.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of events hosted at Hard Rock Stadium outside of the traditional annual Dolphins games and Miami Open matches.
  • Must be able to share a reel, portfolio, and/or collection of prior work relevant to this position demonstrating your prowess as a shooter and editor.
