Graphic Designer/Video Editor

Job Overview:
We are looking for someone who likes a bit of variety. You will be working closely with others in a small team to produce patterns, print media and videos for our business. A large portion of the job will be graphic design and pattern/book formatting for quilting patterns. Video production and editing experience is a bonus, however, interest in learning some of these skills is a must. Creative mind who likes a challenge, social media experience and knowledge a huge plus. Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and some experience with Adobe InDesign is preferred.

Duties:
– Formatting patterns, writing patterns, potentially some photography

– Potentially shooting video, editing in Adobe Premiere Pro

– Work collaboratively or solo, must be easy to work with and open to making edits and changes to work

– Edit raw footage into polished videos
– Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and animation to enhance video content
– Continuously discover and implement new editing techniques and industry trends

Requirements:
– Strong understanding of design principles, color management, and color theory
– Ability to present ideas clearly and effectively communicate with team members
– Familiarity with motion graphics and animation software such as Adobe After Effects
– Basic knowledge of CSS for print products and video formatting
– Experience with fiber arts a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.57 – $24.77 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
