We are seeking a skilled and creative Part-Time Contract Video Editor to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for the production and distribution of our video podcast episodes across various platforms, including YouTube and Spotify. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in video editing and a flair for creating engaging visual content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product for broadcasting. The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, and special effects.
• Ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the video podcast episodes.
• Publish completed episodes to YouTube and Spotify, adhering to platform-specific best practices.
• Design and produce eye-catching video thumbnails to increase viewer engagement.
• Create short-form content clips from the podcast episodes for promotional purposes on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
• Collaborate with the production team to maintain a consistent style and quality across all episodes.
• Manage and oversee the transfer of all media files, including organizing and maintaining project archives.
