Freelance Camera Operator

The Metaverse Street Journal is a startup that’s the official Media Partner of the Upland Metaaverse and has also been the official Media partner to The Paris Blockchain Week and previously the G20 under India’s Presidency for Gaming in collaboration with the Indian Digital Gaming Society (IDGS) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for Indian Gaming Conclave and Gaming Show for G20 under India’s Presidency.

Role Description

This is a freelance position on-site role for a Camera operators at The Metaverse Street Journal located in Las Vegas, Nevada and nearby areas.

The Camera Operator will be responsible for camera management, broadcast management, live setup management.

Qualifications:

• Ability to use Canon XA60, Canon XA40 and Canon 1500D
• Ability to use Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro
• Strong skills in Camera Operations
• Experience as a Camera Operator in broadcast journalism
• A deep understanding of Camera Management
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• The ability to work collaboratively with a team of reporters, producers, and camera crew
• A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, or related field in beneficial but NOT mandatory
• Previous experience in news broadcasting as a camera operator would be beneficial
• Knowledge of current events, politics, and social issues would be desired

Pay: $12.00 – $12.01 per hour
