Description:

This is a part time position under limited supervision, uses artistic talent and technical skills to produce and preserve electronic images of our products for our website, catalogs, and promotions. May record and edit material for short video thumbprints specific to product promotions to be used across a variety of marketing channels.

Requirements:

  • Videos a wide range of our products using a variety of cameras and other photographic equipment; determines camera setting, lighting requirements and other specifications to ensure quality shooting.
  • Cleans, preps and stages products to be photographed and returns products when completed.
  • Creates and uploads electronic images to our website and/or other mediums of advertising.
  • Maintains files of images for future use/reference and reporting for shot lists and photo availability.
  • Works collaboratively with marketing and other functional departments to plan and ensure timely delivery of photography for print, web, events, and internal photography needs.
  • May photograph inventory, company events, employees, or other needs as requested.
  • May record and edit material to conform to specified lengths for product promotions, or collaborate with outside vendors to ensure the consistency and relevancy to production and monitor technical quality of end product.


Education/Experience:

High school degree or equivalent required and two years photography experience demonstrating knowledge of techniques, principles and equipment of modern photography (such as cameras, lenses, lighting, and photography software).

Preferred Associate’s degree in Photography, Fine Arts, or related field. Additional experience in the following is a plus: (a) experience in a sporting, outdoors, or shooting industry, (b) knowledge of videography principles, and/or (c) previous experience operating video cameras and editing equipment.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop.
