Motion Graphics/Animator and Video editor (Mid-Senior role)

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your motion design skills to enhance digital learning content, create efficient and innovative short-to-mid-form video explainers, policy, internal, and partner videos, as well as recap and sizzle videos for event-based productions.

To excel in this position, you should possess a deep understanding of editing techniques, workflow, and visual storytelling. You should be a self-starter, responsive to feedback, and detail-oriented. This is a full-time on-site role for a Motion Graphics and Video Editor.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the mobilearn team to create short-form video scripts
• Editing videos for required platforms and ensuring that editorial standards are maintained.
• Working closely with stakeholders from clients to create videos as needed.
• Performing all motion design tasks from pre-production to execution in an organized and well-communicated manner, without supervision, to produce high-quality content.
• Conceptualizing complex animations and suggesting innovative animation formats and ideas that support the production outcome.

Suggesting innovative improvement solutions, keeping up with design trends and technologies, and sharing learnings to drive innovation and team development.

• Communicating effectively and professionally with internal and external project stakeholders, fostering collaboration with team members.

Qualifications

• Strong conceptual and problem-solving abilities
• Proven experience with Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop for mock-up design
• Proven experience with Adobe After Effects, and Premier Pro/ DaVinci or (Apple Motion + Final Cut) for Motion graphics and video editing
• Audio Editing, with proficiency in audio software (Adobe Audition or Logic Pro)
• Writing Skills for video scripts and story-boarding
• Should have at least 2+ years of video editing experience for digital and or TV

Bonus points

• A relevant qualification in the field
• Familiarity with Filming using modern cameras like Black Magic etc.
• Using AI Applications and other online video creation tools
• Have had exposure to canned animation and stock footage tools
