Standing out online can be a struggle for service based businesses, so we create story driven videos that allow our clients to connect with their audiences to grow their businesses.

Wildkinds Studio is a dynamic video production company. We’re a team of passionate filmmakers who love stories, genuine connection, constantly learning and doing things differently. We want to be able to make video accessible for everyone, and connect people who know things to those who need to know them.

We support our clients by making short form content, brand story videos and filming online courses.

As an editor at Wildkinds Studio you will be responsible for creating engaging short-form & long form video content that stands out online and connects with our clients audience.

You will be required to edit and refine these projects, ensuring they align with our values and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished short-form & long form content using DaVinci Resolve.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure consistency in style and tone.
  • Apply creative editing techniques to enhance narrative and emotional impact.
  • Incorporate graphics, special effects, music, and sound to enhance the final product in line with our clients brand.
  • Create thumbnails for short form content that pop and allow our clients to stand out
  • Maintain a coherent and engaging narrative structure in all videos.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing and suggest improvements to editing workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in video editing, specifically with DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in video production.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a creative environment.
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through video.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Growth mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
