About the role

Are you a budding Director of Photography? Are you a natural visual storyteller with a passion for all aspects of filmmaking and can light and film a range of content?

Are you able to capture beautiful moments on camera effortlessly? Can you knock out attention grabbing video edits with ease.

Fuse is looking for a content creator extraordinaire who is an experienced director/shooter/editor.

Fuse is the largest social content agency in Aotearoa. We have a team of over 20+ people who thrive on social, digital, brand and all things creative production.

Fuse are an internal social and content production team within OMD, NZ’s top media agency.

Our team are constantly curious, team players, and passionate about creating the most ground-breaking creative for our clients.

Skills and Experience

• 4+ years experience behind the camera, you will have used a range of gear and are comfortable shooting solo with camera and mic, as well as with a full production team (gaffer/focus pull etc.)
• A natural creative eye along with the technical prowess to capture stunning moments on camera effortlessly
• A wide range of shooting experience, from social to commercials, video and photography
• Very experienced in shooting with natural light at any time of day
• Experienced lighting a scene/set/studio using a variety of lighting including 3 point lighting and key lighting.
• Product videography/photography experience
• Food videography/photography experience
• Architectural/house videography/photography a bonus
• Lifestyle videography/photography experience
• Experience shooting and editing native social media content
• Confidence to direct talent on set when needed
• Comfortable liaising with clients/key stakeholders on set to ensure satisfaction
• Ambitious creative thinking, you think outside the box and on your feet
• A whizz in the edit suite, you can whip up well considered, attention grabbing edits
• Confidence in presenting your ideas/creative approach to clients & seniors
• Open to bringing to life ideas big and small, from a hands-on small shoot to working with a larger crew for campaigns
• Motion graphics experience a must
• Experienced in colour grading, Da Vinic experience a bonus
• Experienced in audio capture on set, sound design and audio editing
• Can use a drone competently to capture content (you have your licence or are on the way to getting it)
• Great time management
• Production knowledge is a bonus
• A stunning portfolio to back this up
