DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Primary responsibility is the maintenance and repair of gaming machines within the Casino. To include, but not limited to the repair of, hoppers, coin acceptor, switches, handles, doors, glass, wiring and other machine parts. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintain and repair electronic slot machines, video equipment, and other electronic/mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot, replace/install parts and keep accurate repair and maintenance logs. 2. Perform repair functions in a manner that is efficient and provides maximum customer service. 3. Complies with casino policy and procedure for equipment operations and repair. 4. Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule on all Slot assets. 5. Remove, relocate or install slot machines and or signage as needed. 6. Other duties as assigned by Slot Supervisor or above. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: High School Diploma / G.E.D Completion of a certified electronics training program at the post high school level or above. EXPERIENCE: One year electronics repair experience. An additional two years electronics maintenance and repair experience may be substituted for the required training. KNOWLEDGE/ABILITY/SKILLS: Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, logic and problem solving skills. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and the public. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to work on a flexible shift schedule. Knowledge of electronic repair procedures, proper use of tool and associated test equipment. Ability to work in a environment that contains excessive noise, stress and smoke. Ability to lift 60 pounds. NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be 18 at time of hire.
