Student – Digital Cinema Avid Media Composer Lab Admin

Position Announcement

Utah Valley University is seeking a student to work as an Avid Media Composer Lab Admin.

Summary of Responsibilities

The student lab admin is responsible for assisting, supporting, and tutoring UVU Digital Cinema students with their Avid account. Will also oversee the distribution of Avid Accounts and technical problems.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a current UVU student.
• Must be able to work up to 10 hours per week. Hours will vary.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities

• Must be upper division student enrolled in the post-production concentration.
• Must have taken DGM 1061 and DGM 3061.
• Must have a thorough understanding of Avid Media Composer.
• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of student records.
• Ability to manage time.
• Dependability in following schedules and procedures.
• Familiar with Post lab and equipment.
