Job details
Reporting to the Senior Management, the Project Manager is responsible for total project delivery of planning, execution and monitoring to ensure compliance with safety, quality, budget and schedule.*Responsibilities** Promote the best interest of Company.* Carry out all project management activities as laid out in Reborn Renovation?s project management framework.* Lead handover meeting of newly assigned project(s) with Estimator/Designer.* Ensure all team members have read and understood project objectives, including project specifications / agreements and head contract requirements.* Ensure all contracts and subcontracts are issued in accordance with the schedule.* Establish and complete specific project management plans incorporating safety, quality and scheduling.* Ensure all document control requirements are up to date and detailed to create the records of events.* Complete project schedule with input from Senior Management and subcontractors using Builertrend management software. Gain acceptance and approval from both client and subcontractors.* Hold and lead financial start up meetings with Senior Management to ensure cost code allocation is understood and correct.* Prepare all scope of works for subcontracts and direct reports.* Assist in bid processes if, and when, required.* Hold and lead subcontract award meetings and ensure the contracts and scope are aligned with project goals and head contract requirements.* Provide breakdown of initial cost code allocation for review and acceptance of internal team.*Qualifications** 5+ years? leadership experience in a construction company* Must have your own numbered company for contract work* Proven track record of successful residential project management in excess of $1 million/year.* Experience with Buildertrend software is an asset* Background in a renovation trade that gives you the ability to get on the tools when necessary* Ability to use MS Word, Excel, & Outlook* Evidence of exceptional leadership skills and ability to influence, mentor and coach* Ability to inspire trust in difficult situations by instilling confidence and engaging people on matters that affect them* Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships* Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges* Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them* Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, presentation and problem-solving skills* Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills* Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in challenging, fast paced environment* Superior written and verbal communication skills at multiple levels* Ability to work long hours per day* Supportive of a culture that encompasses the highest ethical standards aligned with the Company Promise*Application Instructions: *Only candidates being considered for an interview will be contacted directly.Job Types: Full-time, ContractWork remotely* NoJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $90,000.00-$140,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Company events* Work from homeFlexible Language Requirement:* French not requiredSchedule:* 10 hour shiftSupplemental pay types:* Commission payApplication question(s):* Are you located in Calgary, Alberta?Experience:* project management: 5 years (required)* renovation/construction: 5 years (required)Work Location: In personExpected start date: 2024-05-01
