*Job description*Shakespeare Homes, an established multi-awarded Custom Homes and Renovations company. Based and focused on the North Shore, Shakespeare has been growing exponentially over the past several years and is continuing to grow with new business through 2024 and beyond. We are reviewing applications for a Senior Project Manager to oversee our current and future projects.Description of Duties:* Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans and objectives for projects.* Provide detailed job planning, accurate estimating, and creation of and maintenance of master schedules and budgets using online software.* Attend client review meetings as needed to discuss project plans and progress.* Managing project coordinators, site supervisors, all onsite and construction operations; including start-up, staffing, training, scheduling, quality control, and material purchases* Coordinate and liaise with all Sub-trades while ensuring and monitoring the quality of their performance.* Coordinate and liaise with Consultants and Building Officials to ensure compliance with structural and BC Building Code requirements.* Liaise with clients and ensure that all change orders are properly documented, approved, and monitored for customers? satisfaction.* Manage and maintain site safety and security.* Provide solutions and/ or suggestions to problems encountered on job sites.* Provide weekly updates of all job statuses, schedules, and budgets for multiple projects.Skills & Requirements:* Must be a motivated, detail-oriented individual with a focus on achieving results.* Must have the ability and knowledge to create detailed estimates and schedules for large-scale projects.* Must have a minimum of 5 years of previous Project Manager experience in residential construction.* Must know BC Energy Step Code requirements and regulations.* Strong negotiation skills with trades, suppliers, and clients.* Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.* Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate others, both independently and as part of a team.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, building inspectors, architects, designers, subcontractors, and clients.* Strong experience and understanding of all aspects of residential construction, from form through finish, and proficiency in budget management.* Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office and familiar with operating Project Management Software.* Valid driver?s license and clean driver’s abstract.* Must be eligible to work in Canada.If this sounds like you, please submit your resume, cover letter, and salary expectations!We would like to thank everyone who applies; only short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview.Please visit our website at www.shakespearehomes.comJob Type: Full-timeJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Company events* Dental care* Employee assistance program* Extended health care* Life insurance* On-site parking* Vision careSchedule:* Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
