Digital Media Manager, Videographer

Manage and coordinate the College’s presence on Social Media, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Create posts and series to highlight the school and inform our followers of upcoming events on campus. Monitor and develop posts from multiple sources as they feed ideas to communications.
Tell the story and mission of Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary through producing high-quality video, editing, and posting to YouTube, social media, and the website. Produce powerful videos that draw people in, invoke emotion, educate, and inspire people to action. Produce features on students, faculty, staff, and alumni, cover college events, performances and celebrations, and special content as assigned. Use strong visual storytelling skills to elevate the college and seminary brand.
Work within the Communications Team to update, maintain, and extend our websites.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Experience in all stages of video production
• Proficient in post-production software.
• Experience in audio editing, lighting, and set up for video shoots
• Strong creativity and ability to collaborate on ideas with communications staff
• Writing scripts or outlines of video projects.
• Storyboarding experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and personalities.
• Experience developing engaging video content in higher education settings and production of social media-specific video content
• Manage Social Media Content and content providers.
• Help manage and produce Livestream events.
• Would need to be available for college events on evenings and weekends.
• Might require occasional travel for events.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach and mentor students in video production and social media content development.
