Job Summary

To plan, film and edit videos by visiting a range of external sites. Liaise with internal teams to agree key messaging and objectives and agree filming parameters etc. Ensure sound, light and camera equipment are working at optimum level to produce the best quality videos.

Salary range – £25,000 – £35,000

Key Responsibilities

• Capture action on camera using the best angle, light and format possible to produce compelling stories through video.
• Use Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere and/or other in-house video editing software to sift footage, refine content and produce videos in a range of formats. Upload to YouTube and Vimeo when signed-off
• Ensure all equipment is in good working order, regularly checked and maintained to produce the best quality videos.
• Liaise with internal brief holders to understand filming brief, storyboard and key messaging. Share ideas and feedback to enhance quality of the videos.
• Work with internal brief holders to ensure all relevant permissions and consents are obtained, risk assessments are completed, and any site restrictions are adhered to.
• Plan and prepare travel and logistics arrangements for each shoot, ensuring the most cost-effective methods are used. Update jobs list daily.
• Pick up any other assigned task during quieter periods such as still photography,

Experience Required

• Qualification in videography or related subject (desirable)
• Experience of maintaining and setting up video equipment (including lighting and sound)
• Editing ability to use editing software such as Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro and Cinema 4D
• Physical fitness and ability to travel to and from locations across the UK (essential)
• Access to own car for work use is desirable
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Creative flair and ability to add passion and direction to filming
• Strong communicator, with exceptional relationship building skills
• Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment, managing multiple projects
