Seasonal Real Estate Photographer Wanted – RE PIXS, Portland, Oregon

Job Title: Seasonal Real Estate Photographer

Location: Portland, Oregon

Known for our commitment to quality and our caring customer service, we photograph thousands of homes each year, ranging from cozy bungalows to grand estates. Our business thrives on flexibility, friendly interactions, and a dedicated team that goes the extra mile to capture the best of every property.

Position Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable seasonal photographers to join our team during our busy season. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality real estate photography, capturing each property and its amenities to aid in the marketing and sale of homes within the Portland metro and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:
– Photograph homes as scheduled, ensuring a minimum of 32 high-quality photos per property.
– Engage in minor staging to enhance the look of the home for photographs.
– Be proactive and address any special requests from agents or homeowners.
– Ensure punctual attendance and timely communication in case of delays or issues.
– Stay flexible and responsive to last-minute schedule changes.
– Complete photographer’s report by designated timeframes.
– Maintain clear communication channels, including prompt response to text and phone calls.
– Keep up to date with internal team communications through Slack.

Job Requirements:
– Commitment to business casual attire and a professional appearance.
– Own professional camera equipment (DSLR, wide-angle lens, tripod, etc.).
– A computer with internet access for uploading photos at end of the workday.
– Reliable transportation with current driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
– Cell phone with a suitable data plan for communication and GPS navigation.
– Adherence to safe driving agreements and traffic laws.

Opportunities for Growth:
– Performance-based evaluations with the potential for raises at 90 days, 6 months, and annually.

Compensation:
– Competitive starting pay per contractual agreement.
– Payroll processed bi-weekly.
– Supplementary payment for last-minute cancellations.
– Monthly mileage reimbursement.

Equipment:
– Photographers must bring all camera equipment to each photo shoot, be able to maintain their gear, and have a reliable means of transportation.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 – $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
