Video Editor

Position Summary:

This position is exclusively on-site (not remote) and primarily involves editing recurring videos of construction sites taken by drone pilots. Videos are 1-2 minutes long and follow a general template with plenty of opportunity for creative changes/enhancements. Other projects include editing client training videos, project update videos, timelapsing multi-year projects, and other unique/challenging projects.

Secondary tasks may include processing photos and putting together visual reports with links to media, processing ground-based photos, preparing company marketing material and social media, assisting in preparing field team members with proper A/V equipment and potentially assisting in videography work at client sites.

Tools:

Stratoscape uses the full Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom and occasionally After Effects). A multi-screen workstation/computer provided.

Position Requirements:

• Integrous and reliable; positive attitude; collaborative and willing to learn new things.
• Experience in video editing, preferably using Adobe Premiere Pro. Experience with photo editing/enhancing, preferably using Photoshop.
• A perfectionist with attention to detail.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Must have interpersonal skills required to work within a team as well as be self-directed.
• Must be self-disciplined and motivated to perform tasks independently.
• Tech-savvy and innovative. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to research to find solutions.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn.

Not Required but Desirable (let us know if you have these!)

· Experience with Adobe After Effects and/or Lightroom

· Videography experience

· Photography experience

· Drone experience

· Social Media skills

· Experience using productivity tools such as Microsoft (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google calendar

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
