Job Responsibilities:

As a Remote Video Editor, your primary responsibility is to curate raw footage from our travel advisors and transform it into engaging travel vlogs. These videos are envisioned as personal travel journals of Well Xplored.

Your duties will include:

1. Video Editing: Seamlessly edit and post-produce raw footage to produce engaging and inspiring travel vlogs that resonate with our audience. Leverage your creativity to highlight the unique personality of our travel advisors while capturing the essence of each destination.

2. Footage Management: Organize and maintain raw video assets, ensuring all necessary content is readily accessible for video production purposes.

3. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with travel advisors and marketing team to understand the narrative and vision for each video project.

4. Technical Proficiency: Stay informed of the latest advancements in video editing software, techniques, and equipment to uphold the highest quality standards in video production.

5. Meeting Deadlines: Deliver finalized videos within specified timelines to align with our content schedule and publication objectives.

Job Requirements:

– Demonstrated expertise in video editing and storytelling, supported by a portfolio showcasing your editing skills.

– Prior experience in travel or travel vlog video editing and creation is essential.

– Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or iMovie is required.

– Capability to work remotely and efficiently manage projects independently, demonstrating self-motivation and accountability.

– Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate evolving project requirements.

– Ability to create engaging travel TikTok or Instagram Reels is a plus
