Job Title: TikTok Video Editor (Commercial)

Job Overview:

This is an unique opportunity for you to blend your creative and artistic thinking into the branding content creation. As a TikTok Video Editor (Beauty & Fashion), you will be responsible for creating engaging, visually appealing content for TikTok, one of the fastest-growing social media platforms. Your primary goal is to us camera or mobile phone to shoot product videos, captivate and expand the target audience while effectively promoting the brand, products, or services, especially for Beauty brands. This role requires a creative, innovative, and tech-savvy individual with a deep understanding of TikTok’s trends and algorithms. Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Create compelling and unique TikTok videos that align with the fashion and beauty brand’s image and goals. Develop creative concepts and collaborate with the content and marketing analyst to ensure content meets brand standards.
• Product Shooting: Has the ability to direct and complete visually appealing product (especially makeup & beauty product) shooting creatively using different lighting or props.
• Video Editing: Edit, and post high-quality, visually appealing TikTok videos. Using TikTok editing features and third-party editing tools (CapCut) to enhance video quality. Familiar with Apple product (iMac, MacBook, iPhone and iPad) is expected.
• Scripting and Storyboarding: Plan, write, and storyboard content with team members that effectively communicates the brand’s message while being entertaining, informative, or humorous.
• Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with TikTok trends and viral challenges. Adapt content to incorporate relevant trends to maximise reach and engagement.
• Optimisation: Understand TikTok’s algorithm and work on optimising content to increase visibility. Use relevant hashtags, captions, and engage with trending sounds and effects.
• Compliance: Ensure all content follows TikTok’s guidelines and community standards while adhering to relevant legal and ethical considerations, such as copyright and disclosure rules.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in content creation with a strong portfolio of short videos, short films or any creative content. Especially beauty product videography.
• Strong video editing skills that can be adapted to a variety of different types of videos.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English speaking skills.
• Creative and artistic thinking and the ability to generate fresh, engaging content ideas.
• Deep understanding of TikTok’s platform, trends, and features.
• Knowledge of social media marketing and branding concepts.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with analytics tools to track and measure the performance of content.

Education: A degree in film or documentary, digital art, advertising, art direction, practice-based media & communication, branding, media production or any related field.

Location: London SE1 (on-site)

Salary: £6.00-£25.00 per hour
