Netflix is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to manage a busy Talent Relations & Awards department. The role will support the Film team with various administrative tasks, coordination of event and screening logistics, film programming, festival support and overall team support. This position is based in the Los Angeles office.
The Role:
A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, communicate effectively, pivot quickly, be thorough, and able to multitask with a strong emphasis on organization, prioritization, and unwavering attention to detail at all times.
This is a demanding and fast-moving position that requires someone who can maintain a positive and calm demeanor under pressure while exercising good judgment and initiative. The ideal candidate is passionate about the Awards space.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Managing and updating complex calendars for the team for various screenings & events
- Preparing and updating important documents such as key dates, campaign timelines, schedules, trackers, etc.
- Juggling projects for multiple individuals on the team across various projects while maintaining clear and concise communication
- Centralizing assets across all titles and updating across multiple platforms for various awards needs (submissions, website, digital screener portals, etc.)
- Compiling screening information across all titles for awards invitations and mailings. Proofing these mailings to ensure accuracy.
- Tracking screening RSVPs and delivering guest lists to external partners
- Assisting with the logistics of screening events, which include coordinating programmer screenings, requesting DCPs, shipping posters, creating walk-in slides, etc.
- Supporting festival programming (updating run of shows and various documents, delivery of assets, screening logistics, etc.)
- Ensuring consultants have necessary information and resources
- Working collaboratively with admins within the larger Awards team and across disciplines
- Supporting, facilitating, and staffing screenings and Awards related events
Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of entertainment experience, ideally within the Awards or Publicity industry
- Ability to handle a very active desk supporting numerous simultaneous campaigns
- Ability to respond after hours for important, timely, or urgent matters
- Team player who operates in a fast-paced team-oriented setting
- Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information
- Understanding how to prioritize and respond accordingly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask a high volume of tasks
- Absolute proficiency in the Google Suite of apps (Calendar, Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Forms), as well as, being overall tech savvy to adapt to new tools/systems
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $60,000 – $240,000.
