Job Summary
Our ideal candidate for this editor position is someone who enjoys the process of editing videos and photos. The candidate needs a Keen eye for the colors, storytelling, and a deep understanding of post-production workflow. This job will also need someone who has experience in Premiere Pro, a good understanding of color grading, and familiarity with using various plug-ins. You will be responsible for helping edit video content to meet project specifications.
Duties
– Edit video content using Adobe Premiere Pro, incorporating various elements such as interviews, raw footage, B-roll, and graphics to create compelling narratives.
– Apply color grading techniques to ensure visual consistency and style across projects.
– Utilize plug-ins effectively to enhance the storytelling experience without overcomplicating the edit.
– Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements, target audience, and desired outcomes.
– Provide creative input on projects from pre-production through to post-production.
– Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
– Maintain an organized digital asset management system for efficient workflow and project archiving.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in video editing, software updates, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
– At least 1 year of professional video editing experience.
– Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is essential.
– Strong understanding of color grading principles and techniques.
– Experience with using a variety of plug-ins to enhance video projects.
– Portfolio or reel showcasing previous video editing projects.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
– Excellent communication and time management skills.
– Passion for storytelling and a creative mindset.

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
