Part Time Actor/Games Master for Escape The Fort Experience

Location: Historic Fort Perch Rock, New Brighton

Role Overview

Escape The Fort is seeking a dynamic and engaging individual to join our team as a Part-Time Actor/Games Master. This unique role involves portraying characters from WW2 Britain and Germany as part of our immersive Escape The Fort escape room experience. Set within the historic walls of the 200-year-old Fort Perch Rock in New Brighton, this position offers the opportunity to bring history to life, providing an unforgettable experience for our participants.

Key Responsibilities

– Perform as a character from WW2, either British or German, to enhance the immersive experience of the escape room.

– Guide participants through the escape room experience, ensuring a seamless blend of storytelling and interactive gameplay.

– Assist in setting up the escape room scenarios and ensure all props and materials are in place for each session.

– Provide excellent customer service, ensuring participants feel welcomed, engaged, and satisfied with their experience.

– Work collaboratively with the Escape The Fort team to develop and refine performances and scenarios.

Requirements

– Strong acting skills with the ability to convincingly portray historical characters.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage audiences of various ages and backgrounds.

– Weekend and evening availability is essential to meet the needs of our participants.

– Ideally, candidates will have their own transport due to the location of Fort Perch Rock.

– A passion for history, particularly WW2, and an enthusiasm for storytelling and immersive experiences.

– Previous experience in acting, customer service, or as a games master is preferred but not essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
