Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Video Editor to join us on a project-to-project basis. As a key member of our post-production freelance roster, you will play a crucial role in bringing creative visions to life through the art of video editing on a variety of different projects. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years of professional editing experience, showcasing proficiency in both short-form and long-form content.

*Note, this is not a full-time or part-time gig. We would love to chat and get to know YOU and your body of work in order to add you to a roster of talented editors we can call for specific projects. Daily rates will be based on experience level and project-specific budget.

Responsibilities:

Editing Expertise: Utilize your advanced editing skills to craft compelling and visually stunning videos that align with project objectives and creative briefs.

Short-form and/or Long-form Skill Set: Demonstrate proficiency in editing various types of content, including but not limited to short-form promotional videos, commercials, and long-form narratives or documentaries.

Deadline Management:Meet project deadlines consistently while maintaining the highest standards of quality in the final deliverables.

Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with clients and team members to understand their vision, provide updates, and incorporate feedback into the editing process.

Requirements:

Experience:Minimum of 2-3 years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of editing projects.

Equipment: Own a fully equipped editing setup; hardware and software necessary for professional video editing, including Premiere Pro.

Internet Connection: Maintain a hard-wired internet connection with a minimum speed of 100 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up for seamless collaboration, file transfer and security (fiber preferred).

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to different editing styles, genres, and project requirements.

Portfolio: Provide a comprehensive portfolio demonstrating your editing skills and showcasing your range in both short-form and long-form content.
