We are seeking an experienced and creative full-time Film/Video Editor who is deeply passionate about crafting exceptional visual experiences. Our ideal candidate is driven to innovate, dedicated to excellence, and aligns with the distinctive EDGLRD aesthetic and direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain efficient editing pipelines, tools, and workflows
  • Edit and integrate footage, effects, and audio to achieve desired visual impact
  • Experiment with editing techniques and tools to push creative boundaries
  • Optimize editing assets and processes for optimal performance
  • Collaborate in asset creation, including editing, color grading, and visual effects
  • Understand and execute on the creative direction and objectives of each project

Required Skills:

  • Positive and collaborative attitude
  • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to projects
  • Proficiency in:
  • Editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
  • Real-time rendering, shading, lighting, color grading, and post-processing effects
  • Graphic and art design principles
  • Source control systems like git or perforce

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in film/video editing
  • Demonstrated expertise in editing for film, video, or related mediums
  • Portfolio showcasing contributions to completed projects

Location

We are only accepting candidates based in Miami or willing to relocate to Miami.
