Filmmaker

We are looking for a talented filmmaker for Spoon’s Gothenburg office.

We are looking for a talented filmmaker who enjoys storytelling and who has the ability to use all the elements of dramaturgy to bring out a lively story. In short – you must be able to master your craft so well that more often than not you succeed in creating a narrative that is neither slow or boring.

We create and develop campaigns, film series and animated content for social media; present ideas for stand-alone film productions; manage projects and produce animated content for all our customers’ digital channels. Our assignments are only getting bigger and bigger, which means that we are now expanding our video department in Gothenburg.

Since you will be working with different types of video productions, whose main purpose is to market different types of products or services, you must be able to live by the phrase: there are no boring topics – just boring ways of conveying them.

You must have a good sense for music and rhythm, and keep up with the latest trends when it comes to film making. You need proficient skills in handling sound, lighting, and cameras, along with film editing. You need to have a good grasp of which formats and types of storytelling work best on social media platforms in terms of user behaviors, audiences and technologies.

You will work together with a bunch of other creators such as editors, cinematographers, directors, designers, 3D animators and production managers in our team and our network.

Having experience with the industry’s fast work-pace or similar work flows where there are high demands for creativity and speed, is an advantage. However, even people without much experience are encouraged to apply for this position – energy, innovative thinking, a strong personal drive and willingness to work are ultimately what matters.

It is essential that you can handle Adobe software such as Premiere Pro, Audition and After Effects. Fluency in spoken and written English is also required.
