Video Editor

We are seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating and editing high-quality videos for our member content (fishing reports and highlight reels and other projects).

Responsibilities
– Edit footage to remove any errors or unwanted footage
– Ensure seamless transitions and continuity throughout the video
– Enhance video quality and audio adjustments to achieve a professional production
– Ensure that videos are posted on time and meet the required specifications
– Help as needed with production/recording of videos (podcast-similar style) using Restream

Qualifications
– Expertise in video editing software
– Experience with posting video and audio (Vimeo, Youtube, Facebook, Instagram)
– Experience with Restream and/or Hello Audio a plus
– Experience with WordPress a plus
– Ability to communicate well with guests (off camera)

Other
Every week, we recording fishing reports from a dozen or so captains/guides using Restream, and then we organize those dozen videos into a (roughly) one-hour video. We then post the video to Vimeo and post the audio to Hello Audio, and then we make both available behind a paid wall on our website.

The Video Editor will help with video editing every week, and the ideal candidate will also be able to help with recording the fishing reports 1-3 times a month.

Saltwater fishing knowledge is a big plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 6 per week
