Terms of References for consultancy supporting the media strategy and content production for the isolated peoples’ territorial corridors Initiative at the Rainforest Foundation Norway :
Rainforest Foundation Norway is seeking experienced professionals to work in close collaboration with our communication team to produce two short videos (2 and 5 min) to be published online and screened in global events such as COP29 and COP16. The consultant(s) will also be expected to develop content together with RFN staff and partners; possible travel is expected, and support media training directed to spokespersons for the initiative.
Objective: These communication products aim to increase the international visibility of the situation for Indigenous people in isolation in Brazil and Peru and increase the political recognition of their rights and the territories where they live in both countries. We aim to show the rich biodiversity within these areas and the opportunities their protection represents in terms of nature protection and carbon sequestration. We hope to increase international funding for the initiative to protect these corridors and the Indigenous groups who work to protect the area and the people in isolation from intruders.
