Overview:
We are seeking a talented Video Editor with a strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, fluent in Spanish and English, to join our dynamic team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating engaging video content tailored for various social media channels, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, creativity, and proficiency in video editing software.

Responsibilities:

• Create visually compelling video content optimized for social media platforms.
• Edit and enhance raw video footage, ensuring high-quality output.
• Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for videos.
• Stay up-to-date with social media trends and algorithm changes to optimize content performance.
• Incorporate branding elements and maintain brand consistency across all video content.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with other team members, including graphic designers, copywriters, and social media managers, to ensure cohesive content strategies.
• Monitor and analyze video performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Stay informed about advancements in video editing software and techniques to continuously improve skills and efficiency.
• Insert special effects, slow motion, texts and other elements to make a video more appealing
• Insert music and other sound effects into video so they sync up
• Create intro and outro bumpers that will remain consistent throughout all videos
• Create images from each video to use as thumbnails
• Building a social media presence across all platforms
• Monitoring the company’s brand on social media.
• Responding to comments on each of our accounts.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish.
• Creativity and ability to generate innovative ideas for video content.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience creating video content for social media platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation techniques is a plus.
• A portfolio showcasing previous video editing work and social media content is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or related field is preferred.
