Video Editor

We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our social media team.
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging video content optimised for various social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube.

The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, excellent storytelling skills, and proficiency in video editing software.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube.
• Post video content across all social media platforms, ensuring timely and consistent uploads to maintain audience engagement.
• Collaborate with the social media team and execute video ideas that align with the brand’s messaging and objectives.
• Use creative techniques to enhance video content, including but not limited to, graphics, effects, transitions, and sound design.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media video editing and incorporate them into our content strategy.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the quality and effectiveness of video content based on performance metrics and audience feedback.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a video editor for Social Media platforms, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video specifications.
• Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and animation is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
