Video Editor

Panteao Productions is a video production company based out of Gaston, South Carolina that produces instructional videos, documentaries, industrials, and television shows. Panteao is seeking a full-time video editor for Guns & Outdoor News, a news site that covers firearms, shooting sports, hunting, watersports, and everything related to the great outdoors. The job function will include the following: process short multi-camera news show episodes and news show interviews, enter news show stories in the Guns & Outdoor News website, source B-roll images and video clips for news stories, generate weekly news show scripts, upload the daily news show episodes to the video player for distribution on our dedicated news show website, streaming platforms, and social media accounts, publish daily news show videos on our various platforms and accounts including; Guns & Outdoor News, Make Ready TV, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, interface with agencies that submit news stories, and update social media posts from within the news show dedicated website. You will need to be able to organize raw media files, edit content that is filmed in 4K with multiple cameras, be familiar with exporting rough edits for review, mastering the final edit with color correction, color grading and audio level adjustments, insertion of B-roll images and video clips, and organizing and archiving the finished work. You will be interfacing with the director of photography, director, and other members of the Panteao film crew.

Qualified candidates must be skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects). You must have a strong knowledge in video graphics. While our videos are scripted productions, being able to think out of the box is important. A working knowledge of WordPress is helpful.

Applicants must have at least 4 years of experience, solid computer skills, strong communication skills and the ability to multitask. Selected applicant will be expected to pass a criminal background screening.

This job is NOT remote or work from home. The applicant must be able to work from our production studio in Gaston, SC.
